My name is Satvik Shahapur. I am a passionate motorcycle traveller and a keen photographer. I travel to far-flung areas across India on my motorcycle to capture the beautiful and majestic landscapes, stories of people I meet and cultures I experience.

 

My choice of transport, my motorcycle, makes it easier for me to approach people and get the conversation started. Through my journeys from Kanyakumari to Gurez in Kashmir, Ladakh Valley, Gujarat and Rajasthan in the west to Assam and Meghalaya in East - I have been to some incredible places and met some amazing and beautiful people. 

My journeys have taken me to off the grid places like Chushul in Changthang desert that shares border with China, Dholavira - the site of Harappan civilisation, Kongthong - the whistling village in Meghalaya. 

My strive through my pictures is to showcase places that have a beautiful story to tell.
